Day 1
You’ll arrive at Venice airport to a warm welcome, where YellowBoot staff will greet you and provide all the information you need for an unforgettable stay in Venice. Spend the night at your Venice hotel.
Day 2
Enjoy an early start to the day, riding through the islands of the Venetian lagoon: Pellestrina, Lido and Chioggia. You’ll start in Lido, where you’ll take time to discover its beach and capanne. Continue on to Pellestrina where you can enjoy a typical local seafood lunch overlooking the lagoon at the famous Celeste restaurant. In the afternoon, arrive at Chiogga and wander through the canals of this small island with a gelato in hand. You’ll dine at a local restaurant and stay overnight in Venice.
Day 3
Start the day with a guided tour of Venice, including the Piazza San Marco, Palazzo Ducale, Ponte di Rialto and the mysterious small streets (calli) of this illustrious city. Immerse yourself in the delights of Venice as you explore the city further in the late afternoon. You may also attend a concert at the famous La Fenice theatre if you like classical music and opera. Dinner and an overnight stay in Venice.
Day 4
You’ll be taken on a boat tour of the islands of the Venetian lagoon, including Murano, Burano and Torcello. Murano is world famous for its centuries old art of glass making, which is passed on from generation to generation. You’ll visit a vetreria to witness the expertise of a true maestro who’ll transform sand into a beautiful piece of glass art in mere minutes. Next, you’ll head to Torcello to explore its ancient church before enjoying lunch at a Michelin Starred restaurant in Mazzorbo. In the afternoon, you’ll wander around the starkly painted houses of Burano island, which were originally decorated by the fishermen who lived there, so their homes would be easily recognised after returning from long voyages at sea. In the evening you’ll return to Venice to enjoy an aperitif before dining in a top restaurant around Piazza San Marco with classical live music, and stay overnight in the city.
Day 5
Wake up and get on the train to discover Treviso, a small gem of a town, with its medieval houses and canals. You’ll enjoy a typical local lunch at a welcoming osteria, then spend the afternoon experiencing the Italian lifestyle with a stroll through the centre of town, where you’ll sample some of the best tiramisu. You’ll dine at a highly recommend restaurant and spend the night in Treviso.
