Day 7 You’ll spend the day exploring the natural beauty of Lake Garda, visiting villages that surround the lake, including Lazise, Peschiera del Garda and Sirmione, historical sites that date back to the Roman era and feature in Catullo’s poems. In the afternoon you’ll return to Verona. Season permitting, we can book you an opera night at the Arena. Dine at a recommended local restaurant and stay overnight in Verona.

Day 8 You’ll depart in the morning and head towards Venice, where you can leave your rental car and follow a guided tour or Venice, or simply explore the mysterious small streets (calli) of this illustrious city at your own pace. Day 9 You’ll be taken on a boat tour, visiting the islands of the Venetian lagoon, including Murano, Burano and Torcello. Murano is world famous for its centuries old art of glass making, which is passed on from generation to generation. You’ll visit a vetreria to witness the expertise of a true maestro who’ll transform sand into a beautiful piece of glass art in mere minutes.
