Day 1 You’ll arrive at Venice airport to a warm welcome, where YellowBoot staff will greet you and provide all the information you need for an unforgettable stay in Venice. Spend the night at your Venice hotel.

Day 2 Enjoy an early start to the day, riding through the islands of the Venetian lagoon: Pellestrina, Lido and Chioggia. You’ll start in Lido, where you’ll take time to discover its beach and capanne. Continue on to Pellestrina where you can enjoy a typical local seafood lunch overlooking the lagoon at the famous Celeste restaurant. In the afternoon, arrive at Chiogga and wander through the canals of this small island with a gelato in hand. You’ll dine at a local restaurant and stay overnight in Venice.

Day 3 Start the day with a guided tour of Venice, including the Piazza San Marco, Palazzo Ducale, Ponte di Rialto and the mysterious small streets (calli) of this illustrious city. Immerse yourself in the delights of Venice as you explore the city further in the late afternoon. You may also attend a concert at the famous La Fenice theatre if you like classical music and opera. Dinner and an overnight stay in Venice.

Day 4 You’ll be taken on a boat tour of the islands of the Venetian lagoon, including Murano, Burano and Torcello. Murano is world famous for its centuries old art of glass making, which is passed on from generation to generation. You’ll visit a vetreria to witness the expertise of a true maestro who’ll transform sand into a beautiful piece of glass art in mere minutes. Next, you’ll head to Torcello to explore its ancient church before enjoying lunch at a Michelin Starred restaurant in Mazzorbo. In the afternoon, you’ll wander around the starkly painted houses of Burano island, which were originally decorated by the fishermen who lived there, so their homes would be easily recognised after returning from long voyages at sea. In the evening you’ll return to Venice to enjoy an aperitif before dining in a top restaurant around Piazza San Marco with classical live music, and stay overnight in the city.

Day 5 Wake up and get on the train to discover Treviso, a small gem of a town, with its medieval houses and canals. You’ll enjoy a typical local lunch at a welcoming osteria, then spend the afternoon experiencing the Italian lifestyle with a stroll through the centre of town, where you’ll sample some of the best tiramisu. You’ll dine at a highly recommend restaurant and spend the night in Treviso.

Day 6 A transfer service will bring you to your wine tasting destination: the Prosecco hills, where you will be able to enjoy this world famous sparkling wine! You’ll sample some of the top Prosecco from around the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene region, where the superior DOCG Prosecco is produced. You’ll discover some of the best traditional cuisine over lunch at a local osteria surrounded by the Prosecco hills. You’ll stay the night in Treviso.

Stroll through the centre of town before heading back to you hotel.

Day 3 Today you’ll ride from Treviso to Castelfranco. Enjoy a typical lunch in Castelfranco, a medieval walled town, and visit its historic castle. In the afternoon continue towards Bassano del Grappa and experience the beauty of this ancient city with its famous bridge. You’ll enjoy a local dinner and stay the night in Bassano del Grappa.

Day 4 Ride in the morning to Vicenza, and wander through the streets of this fascinating UNESCO Heritage listed town, discovering its many landmarks, including architectural treasures from Andrea Palladio, the Basilica Palladiana and Teatro Olimpico, the world’s first covered theatre. Enjoy dinner at a recommended restaurant and stay overnight in Vicenza.

Day 5 Today you’ll head to Padua. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of the city and its many famous landmarks, including Cappella degli Scrovegni, Sant'Antonio basilica and Prato della Valle square. Enjoy a local dinner and an overnight stay in Padua.

Day 6 Ride to the marvellous Venetian lagoon, arriving in Chioggia, a beautifully quaint island fishing villages where time seems to have slowed. Try some local fresh fish with a glass of wine under the warming sun, unwind and feast your eyes on the endless view of the lagoon. Stay overnight in Chioggia.

Day 7 An early start to the day, riding through the islands of the lagoon: Pellestrina and Lido. You’ll stop off for a typical seafood lunch in Pellestrina, then continue to Lido, where you’ll take time to enjoy a gelato and discover its beach and capanne.

Day 8 Depart from Venice airport at a convenient time. You may wish to extend your stay in Venice by special request to explore more of the magical and unique city of Venice.

Day 1 You’ll arrive at Venice airport to a warm welcome! YellowBoot staff will greet you and deliver all the necessary documentation and help you with any formalities, including renting a car. Set your GPS to your first destination: Lake Garda! You’ll enjoy a local dinner and stay overnight in Lake Garda.

Day 2 and 3 Start riding early to explore the beautiful and historic villages around the lake. Enjoy stunning views of the landscape from the hilltop, then cycle down to the shores to have lunch at a typical local osteria. In the afternoon, wander through the small streets with a gelato in hand. You’ll enjoy dinner at a recommended restaurant and an overnight stay in Lake Garda.

Day 4 Head to Verona for a guided tour of the city, made famous by Romeo & Juliet’s love story. Take time to discover the ancient Roman arena, the small historic streets, the rolling hills and vibrant vineyards. Season permitting, we can book you a night at the Opera, dinner at a recommended restaurant and an overnight stay in Verona.

Day 5 Depart at a convenient time from Verona airport. Depending on time of departure, it may be possible to organise additional activities, including wine tasting in the famous Valpolicella region.

4 days cycling between Vicenza and the Altopiano di Asiago

Day 1 You’ll arrive at Venice airport to a warm welcome! YellowBoot staff will greet you and deliver all the necessary documentation and help you with any formalities, including renting a car. Set your GPS to your first destination: Vicenza! You’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the city.

Day 2 Start the day early with a ride through the splendid Altopiano di Asiago (Asiago Plateau) surrounded by maginificent natural beauty. The plateau offers almost 500km of mapped routes ranging from easy peddling to more challenging trails. The circuit “Gran Tour dell'Altopiano” (Plateau Grand Tour) offers about 260km of road, free from traffic, noise and smog. The trail is well marked throughout the plateau, which is blanketed by fir and beech forests and sparkling green meadows. The trail winds through the forts and battlegrounds of the Great War, and touches upon the edge of Alpine dairy farms, the perfect place to see the production of the famous Asiago DOP cheese. You’ll enjoy a well-deserved dinner and overnight stay in Vicenza.

Day 3 Today begins with a guided tour of Vicenza, where you’ll wander through the streets of this fascinating UNESCO Heritage listed town, discovering its many landmarks, including architectural treasures from Andrea Palladio, the Basilica Palladiana and Teatro Olimpico, the world’s first covered theatre.
